Sometimes it’s nice to switch up the protein source in the mornings! I usually force myself to eat a few over easy eggs in the morning, but today I just couldn’t do it. They are definitely not as appealing since I’ve gotten pregnant, unless they are on toast with avocado or with hash browns. 🙂 So today I decided to cook them up in my oats! This recipe makes 1 serving of oats and has 21 grams of protein!
Granola is a staple at our house. I make a big batch at least every other week. We eat it as cereal, mixed with other cereal, on top of greek yogurt, on peanut butter and apples, and even in my hot oatmeal!
Has anyone else ever tried writing up a blog post while while walking on an inclined treadmill with a big pregnant belly? Well I am right now! It’s tricky! 😁
So I love lots of mix ins with my oats. Especially if they have lots of nutritional benefit to them! Today my oats (coaches steal cut oatmeal) were topped with Hemp seeds, ground flax seed, coconut sugar, cinnamon, almond milk, fresh raspberries, and frozen wild blueberries. Continue reading
The most perfect, guilt free breakfast, snack, or even dessert right here! I usually eat a few eggs first thing in the morning, but by the time I get my son out the door to school and get ready for the gym, my pregnant self is hungry again. Instead of cooking up more food, I grabbed one of these this morning and ate it on my way! Also, these are oil, flour, AND sugar free. Score!
